Some simple measures can make it easier to write and read back your own writing, for example, using a pen with bold, black ink, good lighting, and thick-lined paper and other large print products, such as diaries.  
This pad of 50 yellow, thick-lined sheets of paper (80gsm) might be helpful. The A6 notepad is spiral-bound, has a teal blue cover, and approximately 11 lines per page (lines are 1mm thick and 13mm apart).
